As part of our ongoing upgrade plans we will be replacing the service delivery routers (SDN's) within our Telehouse North PoP with Cisco 6500's. These new devices will increase both performance and capacity within our service delivery network. As part of this deployment we will be required to take most services operating within the Telehouse North PoP offline whilst the SDN's are replaced and the new Cisco 6500's brought into service.
Customers with sessions terminated in Telehouse North will have their sessions reconnected via Redbus in a controlled fashion before the work takes place. This work will create a session imbalance and as a result at the end of the maintenance period we will be required to re-balance sessions back into Telehouse North to ensure service continuity and stability.
For the most part you will not witness any disruption due to the hours the engineering works are being completed in.
